ADAMSVILLE - Gertie McMurry, 98, homemaker, died of heart failure Tuesday at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson. Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Adamsville Funeral Home with burial in Lebanon Cemetery in Hardin County. Shackelford Funeral Directors in Savannah has charge. She was a member of Lebanon Methodist Church and attended Adamsville First Baptist Church. Mrs. McMurry, the widow of Lonnie Alger McMurry, leaves a daughter, Nell Butler of Adamsville; a sister, Edra White of Morris Chapel, and a grandchild.
