Antonio Joseph DeVillers died at his home on May 9, 1984 in Claremont, NH from smoke inhalation from a mattress fire. He was born in Oxford, MA on January 27, 1897; the son of Philadelphia and Parmelia (Larochelle) DeVillers.
He had lived in Claremont for most of his life. He had been employed by the former Sullivan Machine Shop for twenty two years and in recent years was self employed.
He married Marie Robietine "Rose" Bourassa on November 25, 1918 in Oxford, MA who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by son Thomas.
He leaves three sons Alfred DeVillers and Andre DeVillers both of Claremont, and Armand DeVillers of Cornish, NH; two daughters Theresa Denis of Claremont and Rita Collins of Cornish, NH; fifteen grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
Burial is in St Mary's Cemetery.
