Theresa Denis died in St Joseph Hospital in Nashua, NH on June 7, 2003 after a period of failing health. She was born on September 17, 1919 in Oxford, MA; the daughter of Anthonio and Rose (Bourassa) DeVillers.

She had been a longtime Claremont resident.

She married Gerard Denis on November 30, 1939 in Claremont who preceded her in death.

She had been employed by the federal conservation commission for a number of years during wartime. She later worked for Claremont National Bank, Davis & Simonds Lumber and Dr. Marcel Coutu.

She attended Bluff School in Claremont for a period of time. She then transferred to St. Mary's School and graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1938.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Stephen G. Denis, and two brothers, Armand deVillers and Andre deVillers.

Survivors include a son, Armand Denis of Nashua; three grandchildren, Joseph Denis, Donna Hagerman and Debra Heitmiller; five great-grandchildren, Kristin Haggerman, Sarah Heitmiller, Courtney Heitmiller, James Heitmiller II and Christopher Heitmiller; and a sister, Rita Collins of Cornish Flat; and a brother, Alfred Villers of Claremont.

Burial is in St Mary's Cemetery.
