Shirley Elaine Ackerman, 80, of Carrollton, passed away, March 10, 2006, at Life Care Center Carrollton.She was the daughter of Clare and Dorothy Griffins McGraw. She graduaated from Northeast Kansas City, Missouri. On October 20, 1945, she married Eldon Ackerman in Kansas City, he preceded her in death on April 6, 2005.
Survivors include two sons, Gary Wayne Ackerman, and Richard L( Connie) Ackerman, five grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Shirley was a member of the Immanuel Luthran Church, Carollton, Mo, the Trotter Hustlers Extension Clubm, and Carroll County Historical Society. She had been secretary-treasurer for the Carrollton Country Club for fourteen years. She was the president to the B & F Jolly Neighbors Club.
