Edward "Eddie" Edwardson was born at Red Jacket, Houghton Co., Michigan on October 6, 1873, to Ole Edwarson and Marin Edwardson. In the 1890s. the family homesteaded in Troy, Latah Co., Idaho.

There on August 3, 1899, Edward married Flora Margaret Nelson.

In the early 1900s, about 1902 to 1918, Edward was a police detective in Spokane, WA.

The family then moved to Bonner Co., Idaho. During World War II he and Flora moved to Portland, OR, where he worked as a watchman in the shipyards.

He spent his final years at Spirit Lake, Idaho, where he died on January 20, 1950.
