1924-2000
Funeral services for Harold "Gordon" Peacock, 76, of Theodosia, were held Tuesday, Nov. 21, at Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Gainesville, with Doyle Turner officiating. Burial was in Lutie Cemetery.
Mr. Peacock retired from heavy equipment operation and farming in 1986. He served as Western District Judge for two terms. He was a avid musician and received many recognitions for his accomplishments in the music field.
He is survived by his wife of 55 ears, Garnett; two daughters, Judy Wordsworth and husband, Jim of Olathe, Kan., and Sandra Peacock of North Kansas City; one son, Joe Peacock and wife, Patty, of Kansas City; two grandsons, Jeff Wordsworth and wife Jamie, of Overland Park, Kan., and Jimmie Lee of Kansas City; two great-grandchildren, Kyle David and Abigail Laureen Wordsworth of Overland Park, Kan.; one sister, Nina "Sue" Turley of Ava; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
