JOEY T. HUTCHERSON, 63, of Memphis, retired from the Corps of Engineers, died of lung cancer Sunday at Memphis Veterans Medical Center. Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Wells Station Baptist Church, where he was a member. He was an Air Force veteran. He leaves two sons, Joey A. Hutcherson of Florida and Donnie Hutcherson of Atlanta; his mother, Letty Hutcherson, and two sisters, Mary Ann Odom and Jayne H. Smith, all of Memphis; three brothers, Donald Hutcherson and Laddie Hutcherson, both of Memphis, and William Hutcherson of Clarksville, Tenn., and several grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorials be sent to Wells Station Baptist Church Children's Home Fund or the charity of the donor's choice.
