John Wade Cyphert, Sr. of Clarion died at 7 a.m, July 2, in Warren. He was formerly of Clarion. He was born in Kingsville, Clarion county, April 15, 1877, the son of Henry and Sarah Allison Cyphert. In 1901, he was married to Ora A. Page. He was employed as a night watchman In the Warren state hospital, Warren. He was a member of the Baptist church. He is survived by two sons, Henry Cyphert of Clarion, R. D. 2 and John W. Cyphert; one daughter, Mrs. James Dolby of Clarion, R. D. 2; and nine grandchildren. The body was taken to the Jenkins funeral home In Clarion.

John Wade Cyphert, Sr., Clarion, died at 7 a.m. Monday in Warren. Surviving are two sons, one daughter and nine grandchildren. Body taken to the Jenkins funeral home where services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday. Rev. George Haines of the Clarion Baptist church will officiate. Burial will be in the Clarion Cemetery.
