ETTA MAE CHERRY, 85, passed away Friday, April 1, 1988, in El Paso. She had been a resident of Hedley, Texas, for over 84 years and was preceded in death by her husband, Temple J. Cherry.
Survivors include daughters, Mrs. Eva Jean Crisler, Midland Texas, Mrs. Lanell Barnett, Vernon, Texas; sons, Glyndon Cherry, Burnet, Texas, Lynn Cherry, Amarillo, Texas, Aubrey Cherry, El Paso; 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters; 1 brother; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at the Hedley Methodist Church with burial in the Rowe Cemetery of Hedley, Texas, under the direction of Spicer Funeral Home of Memphis, Texas. Arrangements by Harding Orr and McDaniel .
