Samuel H Best, 66 years old for many years a resident of Lafayette County, died Wednesday at Pilot Grave, Missouri as the result of Cerebral Hemorrhage.
Mr. Best was born Oct 25, 1876, at Knoxville, Tennessee, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Best.
He was married to Mae Wilcox, Feb 24, 1904. He was retired farmer and member of the Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Lowell Best, Mayview; a daughter Mrs. Lorrina Shier, Pilot Grave; three brothers, John Best, Joe Best, and Henry Best of Lexington, a sister, Mrs. W.L. Christy, Bates City, and three grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning at the Baptist Church in Mayview, with burial at the Marvin Chapel.
