Dr. F.O. Epp
Dies At 71,
Rites Friday
Dr. Frederic O. Epp, 71, died yesterday in Wichita.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 Friday afternoon at the Dunsford chapel with Rev. John Saville officiating and burial in the Elmwood cemetery.
Dr. Epp, a retired doctor of the VA Hospital, was born Jan. 19, 1907 at Shattuck, Okla., a son of Abraham P. and Caroline Becker Epp.
He married Ella Irene, who survives, in a ceremony at Wichita on June 30, 1940.
Dr. Epp was a member of the United Methodist Church, American Legion, VFW, Elks, Moose and the Retired Officer's Club of McConnell AFB. He was a retired lieutenant colonel of the U. S. Army.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Jeanie Smitherman, Englewood, Calif.; a sister Elizabeth Fast, Fairview, Okla., and a grandson, Leon Smitherman III.
