Thomas is the son of William Lawrence and Emma Cronin Byron. Married to Kitty Shea first, and then married, Marie Connors.

Thomas was the half Uncle of my mother Helen Gilruth Gallagher.

Kitty and Thomas had 3 children Mary, Johanna, and Nellie.

Thomas married Marie Connors abt 1883 and they had 8 children. William, Michael, Helen, Thomas, Lawrence, John, James and Joseph.

Quite a few Byron families are shown on the census records in the 1870s and 1880s living in the Scranton area.

1880 Census, the William Lawrence & Mary Byron's family is living in Newport PA. Thomas and his new wife Marie (Connors), lived in Newport Township which is near Nanticoke.

The Byron family has had a close relationship with the Connors family. They had lived together on the same street in Newport Township. Not only had Williams Patrick's older brother, Thomas, married Marie Connors but William Lawrence and Mary's daughter, Margaret, married William Connors, they settled in Montana.
