Ruth Jane Northcutt, 74 of Cynthiana, Ky, passed away Wednesday October, 15, 2003 at her home. She was born on December 11, 1928; daughter of the late Sherman Lang and Lucille Denise Teals. She married Merrill E. Northcutt on June 21, 1974, and her husband survives her passing.

Survivors include husband, Merrill Northcutt, one daughter, Patty (Welborn Jr.) Adams of Berry, one son, Larry (Diana) Wells of Berry, 2 stepdaughter's; Anna Mae (Jimmy) Brooks and Patsy Northcutt both of Cynthiana, 5 step-sons; Merrill Northcutt, Jr. Donald (Rosetta) Northcutt, Robert (Norma) Wells all of Cynthiana, Brian (Donna) Northcutt, Randy (Tina) Northcutt, both of Berry. Three grandchildren; Julie (Richard) Dailey of Cynthiana, Chip Adams of Lexington, Lucas Wells of Berry. One great grandson; Isaac Dailey of Cynthiana, 10 step-grandchildren; T.J. And Brittney Barnes, Scott and Drew Northcutt, Nathan and Jamison Brooks, Keith and Ben Northcutt, Amy and Brian Turner, and three step great grandchildren; Zack, Skyler, and Tennessee Turner.

Funeral Services were held on Saturday October 18, 2003 at the Woodhead Funeral Home in Berry with Bro. Roger Anderson and Bro. Merrill Mitchell officiating. Music was shared by Neal Holmes. Pallbearers for the service were James Anderson, Ronnie Cooper, Roger Taylor, Ray Ledford, Troy Gregg, and Stanley Northcutt. The honary pallbearers were Billy Jett, Dr. Don Stephens, Kenny Williams, Ed Culberston, Jr. Adams, Bobby Wells, Montgomery Northcutt, Sam Arnold III, Bruce Hampton, Edward Milner, and Bob Lenox.

Interment took place in the Pyhtian Grove Cemetery.
