DEPARTED this life on the 16th inst., Mrs. Leland, consort of the Rev. Aaron Leland of Chester. By her death, her surviving partner sustains the loss of an incomparable blessing of human life - her only surviving son, the loss of a kind and exemplary parent - While her neighbors and acquaintance have reason to deplore in her death, the loss of a pious and benevolent friend. In consideration of the worthy character which Mrs. Leland sustained in the various relations of human life, it may emphatically be said, that "her price was far above rubies."
"Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord."
