Mrs. Simon (Alberta) Achterhof, 84, of Zeeland, died Thursday, May 16, 1996, in Zeeland Community Hospital.

She was a member of Cethany Christian Reformed Church.

Surviving are her husband, Simon, daughter, Judith Ann and Gerald Bergman of Holland; two grandsons; one great-grandson; sisters, Mrs. Peter (Henrietta) Kolean, Janet and Ebert Habers of Holland, Angeline and Tom Redder of Zeeland and Marian and Harold Bangor of Houston, Texas; sisters and brothers-in-law. Beatrice and Harvey Breuker of Hamilton, Thelma and Clare Culver of White Cloud, Mrs. Russell (Rose) Achterhof of Holland, and Jacob DeGraaf of Holland.

Services are 11 a.m. Monday in Bethany Christian Reformed Church, with the Rev. David Schuringa officiating. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.

Visiting is 2-4 and 7-8 p.m. Sunday at the Notier-Ver Lee-Langeland Funeral Chapel, 315 e. 16th Street.

Memrials may be made to Christian Reformed World Relief Committee.
