B. Mather. She leaves one son and two daughter, four brothers and one sister and nine grandchildren and many other relatives and friends to mourn the loss of a kind mother and friend.
Susan Chambers was born in Washington County, Indiana, December 5, 1822. She came to Iowa with her parents in her youth. She was married to Abraham Morgan March 3, 1842. He preceded her to the better land June 29, 1894. She was baptised by Solomon Cross and united with the Church of Christ about 30 years ago and lived a consistent christian up to her death.
The funeral occurred from the family residence Friday, February 8, 1901, at 1 o'clock p.m. Eld. Hoke of Center Point, officiating. Interment in Center Point Cemetery.
