DIES FOLLOWING MONTH'S ILLNESS
HARRY DUNN, THIRTY-YEARS A RESIDENT OF EUGENE, SUCCUMBS TO BRIGHT'S DISEASE
Harry Dunn, a well known business man who lacked but a few years of being a native son of Eugene, died yesterday morning in the hospital from Bright's disease. The funeral was held this afternoon. Death came after more than a month's suffering in the hospital. He is survived by a widowed mother, Mrs. B.C. Dunn, with whom he has lived at 1018 Olive street, and by a brother, F.B. Dunn, a Eugene banker, living at 1100 Olive street.
Harry Dunn was the owner of the Eugene Bakery, at 516 Willamette street, which he had conducted at one location or another for the past fourteen years. During the early years in Eugene he conducted a clothing store and later a mercantile business, after which he went into the bakery business. After he opened his bakery, his brother bought an interest and the establishment was known as the Dunn Bakery. Nine years ago they separated and each conducted his own establishment.
He was born in Douglas County, Kansas, and came to Oregon with his parents when eight years old. He has lived in Eugene for the past thirty-eight years dying at the age of 40. He never married.
