Mr. Tarver served in the U.S. Army and was a retired independent oil driller.
Survivors include wife, Jarrelynn of Sentinel; sons, Randy of Denton, Texas, Sean of Oklahoma City, Jason of Butler, Okla., Michael of Russellville, Ark., Jarrell Gilbert of Columbus, Ohio, Joe Gilbert of Electra; sisters, Wilma Gibbs of Wellington, Texas, Thelma Able of Amarillo, Vida of Abilene; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
