Survived by wife, Mrs. Chesteen Allen Thomas, Triune; daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth (Copeland) Baker, Triune; Mrs. Joanne Powers, Mrs Irene Neal, both of Nashville, Mrs. Dorothy (Mike) Garrett, College Grove, Mrs. Pauline Gentry, Chapel Hill; sons Edward "Ed" (Marie)Thomas, Nolensville, Allen Thomas, Donelson, sister, Mrs. Eunice Webb, Triune, brother Dell (Ethel) Thomas, Smyrna; twenty one grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren.

Remains are at Waller Chapel, Nolensville, where funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 pm with Rev. J. Paul Tramel, Rev. John Hembree and O.P. Baird officiating.
