Oceanside, California - Vera Kelly Feidler Peregrine, 86, a former Scottsbluff resident, died May 18, 1995, at Oceanside.
Services were held May 23, 1995.
She was born June 21, 1908 the 7th child of pioneering parents Samuel M. and Jennie (Skinner) Kelly of Banner County, Nebraska. She was schooled at Wright's Grove and later in Scottsbluff. On March 8, 1903, she married Leo Feidler at Torrington, Wyoming. They worked on several ranches in Sioux County, Nebraska and in June 1949 they started the Feidler Firestone Home and Auto Supply in Scottsbluff. Her husband Leo died in October of 1949 suddenly at home of a heart attack. In 1951 she married Dale Peregrine of Grant, Nebraska. They lived in Scottsbluff later retired to Broadwater. He died in 1988. Shortly after she moved to California and resided there ever since.
Survivors include: Daughters Jean Scott of Biloxi, Mississippi and Joy Couchman of Oceanside; Seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; Sister Lillian Gable of Scottsbluff and brother Clifford Kelly of Yakima, Washington.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands Leo and Dale and daughter Dorothy Ann Bennett of Scottsbluff in 1981.
