Joy (Feidler) Couchman, 65, former Scottsbluff, Nebraska resident died June 1, 1997 at a care facility in San Marcos, California.
The body was cremated and services will be held later this week.

Beverly Joy was born on March 5, 1932 at Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Leo and Vera (Kelly) Feidler. She attended local schools and graduated from Scottsbluff High School in 1950. She married John Couchman (they were later divorced). She worked in Scottsbluff until moving to California where she raised her family. She had been a Real Estate Broker for the past 20 years.

Survivors include a daughter Sherry and husband Wendall Jasmer of San Marcos; a son - Russ and Dionne Couchman of San Marcos; Sister Jean Scott of Slidell, Louisiana; Father-in-Law Harold (Red) Couchman of Scottsbluff; three Aunts and several cousins, Grandchildren Chelsea and Dakota Jasmer, Cherie, Kasey and Rusty Couchman all of San Marcos and nieces Susan Bennett of San Diego (later Mrs. James Edwards), Derry Martin (Children Nick and Melanie Martin) of Jasper, Indiana and Tracy Kastan of Las Vegas, Nevada .

She was preceded in death by her parents Leo and LaVera and sister Dorothy Bennett.
