Died at his home at Gamble Mines May 16, 1912, John Burton. Brother Burton moved to this county with his parents from South Carolina in 1832, being 4 years old at that time. He married Nancy Sides in 1857 and enlisted in the Confederate Army in 1861 and fought as a brave solider. He is survived by his wife, three daughters, and five sons.
