BASILE~Ena Richard known as "Nan" to all who knew her passed away on Friday, March 12, 2010 at Kinder Retirement Center. She was 81. Gravesides services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, March 15, 2010 at St. Augustine Cemetery in Basile with Father Brian Taylor officiating.
Nan leaves behind her son, Stanley R. Richard of Indian Village; and her daughter, Linda Fruge Hollier of Denham Springs; and three grandchildren. Also mourning her loss is her caregiver and special friend, Vickie Briscoe.
Now she rests in Heaven with her beloved sons, Fabian "Peewee" Richard and Carl "Butch" McGee.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Basile on Monday, March 15, 2010 from 9:00 am until time of services.
