Kiel, Wis—William Frederick Perschke, aged sixty-three, passed away Thursday at the home of his nephew, Edgar Mueller, who resides six miles southeast of Kiel. He had been ill for two months and confined to his bed since July 6. Mr. Perschke was born September 29, 1867, on a farm in Rockville where he grew to manhood. When a youth of eighteen he entered his father's wagonshop and learned the trade. After the death of his parents, he continued the business for a number of years before he sold it and purchased a farm near Kiel, which now is owned by Hubert Nett. A few years later he traded the farm property for a residence here, and several years later he disposed of the residence to John Johst and made his home with his sister, Mrs. Gottfried Mueller in the town of Schleswig. After his sister passed away nine years ago he made his home with his nephew, who took over the old homestead.
The survivors are three brothers, Carl of Kiel, August and Otto of Unity, Wis.
The funeral will be held Saturday, a service at the Mueller home will be followed by another services in the Zion Evangelical Lutheran church at Louis Corners. The Rev. Harold O Grunwald will officiate and burial will be in the Rockville cemetery.
