I received the following edit Feb. 2021.=

I have been researching the family of both John W. Myers and his wife Elizabeth Adams. Can you tell me where you found the middle name "Bristoe" for her? She was actually the daughter of John Adams and Elizabeth Bledsoe. John W. Myers was listed as an administrator for her father John Adams's will in Howard County, Missouri. There was no one named Bristoe in the family at all, and there never was anyone who ever lived in Howard County, Missouri with the last name Bristoe. In the 1826 marriage for Elizabeth Adams to John W. Myers there was no middle initial, and at that time the only Adams living in Howard County was John Adams the husband of Elizabeth Bledsoe. If you have no proof of middle name or any link to a Bristoe family, can you please remove the middle name. I wouldn't ask but I have so much proof that this name has no connection to the Adams family who lived in Howard County.
Thank you for your consideration of my request.

In the last 20 years of very serious research I have found that sometimes you will find a person that have 80 people who all say the same thing about a person's name and then you will find one person who says something different. Sometimes in further research you find out that the one person who says something different is correct and the other 80 people are wrong. Sometimes it is the other way around and the 80 people are all right and the one person who says otherwise is wrong.
So Elizabeth's middle name has been removed from my page for now until somebody starts sending me edits that prove Elizabeth's middle name really is Bristoe.
