Survivors included: daughters, Mrs. Barbara Robbins, Mrs. Peggy Martin and Mrs. Rita Teague, six sons, James L., David R., Thomas, Jerry, John and Ricky Barnwell, two sisters, Mrs. Annie Waldrop and Mrs. Fannie Taylor, brothers, Edward and Reeves Barnwell, 18 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was 71 years of age at his demise.
