Last rites held Wednesday for Elnora Bailey

Mrs. Elnora Bailey, 89, of route 2, Russell springs, Kentucky, passed away February 17, 1969 at 6:30 p.m.,at her home after a long illness. She was the daughter of the late Matthew and Emily Leach of Adair County, Kentucky.

She was the wife of the late James Bailey, who preceded her in death December 23, 1955.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Callie Huff of Route 2, Russell springs, six grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren: she is futher survived by one step sister, Mrs, Olivia Mallet Cornwell of Tucson, Arizona.

She was a member of the Freedom Church of God.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, February19, at 10:00 a.m., at the Freedom Church of God. Rev Mae Tucker and Rev. Oval Smith officiated.

Interment was in the Leach Family Cemetery in Adair County. Stotts and Phelps Funeral Home was in charge of arrangement

Pallbearers were Leon Huff. Walker Bryant, Charles Roy, Donald White, Eugene Atchley and Larry Bryant.
