Johann and Anna Marie came to the U.S. in the 1840's.
They settled near Helenville, Wisconsin to be near family and friends who were already here. Johann and Maria were early members of the St. Peter's Lutheran Church at Helenville. The Church Cemetery is on the east side of the church and that is most likely where they are buried. There are no stones to mark their graves. Alot of the graves in this area are unmarked or they are unreadable. Officials of the church say it is possible that the church's foundation may be over some of the early graves.
