William W. Wilson, 74, of Corpus Christi, died Saturday at his home. Willie was the son of William W. Wilson and Ollie Biard Wilson of Fort Towson, OK. He attended SMU in Dallas and received a mechanical engineering degree about 1931.

He worked for many years in the oil business. In the forties, he was a manager for Lane Wells Co in Corpus Christi, Texas. After he retired to Corpus Christi, he ran a business called Wilco Sales and Rentals, which rented lawn equipment.

Survivors include two daughters, Susie Bruce of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Mrs. Michel Oliver of Houston; a sister, Mrs. Jane Leach of Nacogdoches; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He married Frances Graham in 1934 in Tulsa, OK. His wife was a school librarian for many years until she passed away in 1973. They are buried side by side at Seaside Memorial Park in Corpus Christi.

His daughter Susie Bruce died about 2003 in Houston, leaving a husband Robert Keith Bruce and two children. His daughter Michel Ann Oliver died Jan 27, 2016 of complications from a car accident., leaving her husband Dane, and two children Amy & Bill from a prior marriage.
