Mrs. Clara E. Keyser died July 28 at 1:00 a. m. at the home of her son, Val Keyser, at Shubert. Mrs. Keyser was born in Ohio February 23, 1852, the daughter of Rev. Louis Bower and Harriett Hills Bower. She came to Nebraska City in 1869 and later moved to Bower, Nebraska. She married George Edgar Keyser at Bower, Nebraska November 1, 1873, where she made her home until the death of her husband at which time she returned to Nebraska City to make her home with her son, Vat Keyser. She is survived by three sons, Alvin Keyser, Instructor in Agricultural College at Fort Collins, Colorado: Val Keyser, Orchardist at Shubert; Harry Keyser, Attorney at Boise, Idaho; also five sisters, six brothers and seven grandchildren. She was a member of the Christian Church at Nebraska City and was a Charter member of the Christian Church at Bower, Nebraska, which
was organized in a little sod school house and of which her father was pastor.
