Gabriel blew his horn and called Ellie Lenora Bebee home on January 28, 2010. She answered peacefully, in the comfort of her bed in her own home. Mrs. Bebe was born in Milam county and raised in Austin, where she graduated from Austin High School. She married Cregg Orlander Bebee of Spicewood and together they raised three children, Janice, Rodney and David, and shared many happy years together before Cregg preceded her in death.

Mrs. Bebee was widely known for her role in furnishing the nurseries of Austinite's for over 50 years as a salesperson at Bo Peep, Lamb's 'E 'Divey and ABC Baby. Families from around the Austin area, returned with each new baby, to seek Mrs. Bebee's expert advice for all their baby needs.

She is survived by sister, Elsie McMillan of austin; daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Terry Ross, grandson Richie Ross, granddaughter and son-in-law Robin and Kent Flowers, great-grandchildren Ross and Morgan Flowers, all of Austin; grandson Larry Holiday, great-grandchildren Sierra and Rowan Holiday of Durango, Co., granddaughter Lisa Bebee of Austin; son and daughter-in-law, David and Leslie Bebee; grandsons, Ryan and Cole Bebee and great-granddaughter Leia Bebee, all of Austin.

She is preceded in death by both parents, all of her older siblings, her husband and her son, Rodney Bebee.

Visitation will be held at Cook-Walden Funeral Home on North Lamar followed by a Funeral Service and Interment will follow at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville. Nephews Tommy and Dauphen Jackson, grandson's Larry Holiday, Richy Ross, Ryan and Cole Bebee, and great-grandson Ross Flowers will serve as pallbearers.
