She served on the Pulpit Committee and served as Hostess of the Baptist Temple for 20 yrs. and Honorary Hostess for the past 5 yrs. On Sunday, 2/19/1976, she was honored as the church's outstanding senior member. SURVIVORS: 2 sons, Jodie Jackson and Dauphen Jackson, both of Austin; 3 daughters, Mrs. M.A. (Bessie) Guentzel, Mrs. C.O. (Ellie) Bebee and Mrs. DeHart E. (Elsie) McMillan, Jr., all of Austin; 31 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren.
