Robert James Vaughn was the fifth child of Riley J. Vaughn and Chloe Ann Jenkins. Although he was born at home on 1 Apr 1924, grandpa didn't get to town to have his birth recorded until 3 April 1924, his children chose to use the legal birth. Uncle Bob had absolutely the best smile in the world! All of his childhood photos show him laughing as he was a bit of a prankster in the family!

He served in the United States Navy/Coast Guard in Groton, Connecticut, United States Air Force and the Marines during WWII.

He donated his body to the furtherance of Medical Science and for the good of others.

The Cremains were interred in Potter's Field on Guerley Rd in Cincinnati Ohio.

He was much loved and greatly missed by all who knew him.
