In ill health for several years, and an invalid about twelve months, Mrs. Emma E. Shultz, 77, widow of Frank G. Shultz, died yesterday morning at nine-fifteen o'clock at her home in Greenville.
The funeral will be held from the Greenville Baptist church this afternoon at four o'clock, conducted by the Rev. N.C. Rice, of the Methodist church, of which Mrs. Shultz was a member; assisted by the Rev. W.A. Lynch, of Port Republic, a former pastor, and the Rev. Dr. J.S. Turner, of Bethel Presbyterian church. Burial will be in Bethel cemetery.
Mrs. Shultz, a daughter of Isaac and Elizabeth Steele, was born in the Greenville section of the county, and there spent practically all of her life. She is survived by four sons, W.H., Winston-Salem, N.C.; Dr. Fred S. and Earl M., of Greenville; J. William Shultz, of Wadesboro, N.C.; three grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. C. Dudley Bray, Washington; Mrs. J.H. Thomas and Mrs. Roy Hanger, Greenville. Mr. Shultz died last year.
