Obituary of William H. Baker
William H. Baker, 79, Everett RD 1, died Sunday March 28, 1965 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Mereda Hershberger. He was born July 28, 1885, in Snake Spring Valley, a son of the late Elias and Anna (Harclerode) Baker. He was married to Irene (Imler) Baker, who passed away Feb. 15, 1963. He is survived by five children: Mrs. Josephine Cessna, Cumberland, Md.; Emmert Baker, Bedford; Mrs. Annie Ferne Leonard, Everett RD 3; Mrs. Marcella B. Barkman, Breezewood; and Mrs. Mereda E. Hershberger, Everett RD 1. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and two brothers, Sherman Baker, New Enterprise, and Cleophus Baker of Everett.

He was a member of the Snake Spring Valley Church of the Brethren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 30 at 2 p.m. in the Conner Funeral Home, Everett, with the Rev. Robert Detwiler officiating. Burial will be in the Everett Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Monday (today).
