James E. Baker
James Emory Baker, 63, a former Bedford County commissioner, died Sept 15, at his home in Snake Spring Twp. He was born in the township on June 3, 1882, a son of the late Elias and Anna (Harclerode) Baker.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Eliza (Lucas) Baker, one sister, Mrs. Lloyd Creps, Everett R. D. 1, and five brothers--William and Paul, Everett, R. D. 1: Virgil and Cleophas, Everett, and Sherman, New Enterprise.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Gump and Sons Funeral Home. Rev. Alva Shuss officiated. Interment in the Everett Cemetery.
