Cecil Boothe was born in Citronelle, AL, the son of Eli Robert Boothe & Hester Miller Boothe.
He married Mary Ruth Gartman on Sept 16,1927. She was the daughter of Thomas R. Gartman and Laura Sweeney Gartman. Cecil and Mary Ruth had four children:
1.Ruth Irene (Jefferson) 1928-1993
2.Rufus Cecil Boothe 1929-1990
3.Marietta (Richard) 1933-2005
4.Infant Boothe 1936-1936

Mary Ruth passed away January 8, 1936 and is buried in Brannan Cemetery in Citronelle.
Cecil then married Etta Smith on March 9, 1956 in Lucedale, Mississippi. Etta was the daughter of Charlie Smith and Mary Walley Smith. She passed away on April 26, 1971 and is also buried in Lambert Cemetery, beside Cecil.
Cecil passed away on August 31,1989 at the age of 92.

The attached photo is of some of Cecil's siblings. I am pretty sure that Viola is the one on the far left but I do not know who the others are or when he photo was taken.
