Memorial Rites are Held Tuesday for Mrs.Thurston Wurst
Memorial services for Mrs. Mattie (Michael) Wurst were held at the Westville Methodist church, Tuesday afternoon, Rev. H. Paul Smith officiating. Interment was in Westville cemetery. Mrs. Wurst passed away in a Denver Colorado hospital last Thursday. She had been there since December when she was taken ill while on a visit to her daughter, Mrs. Earl Jenkins.
She was born in Jackson township on July 20, 1904. Surviving are her husband, Thurston Wurst; one daughter, Mrs. Gwendolyn Jenkins; two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Pinkham, Chesterton and Mrs. Flora Yost, Remus, Mich., and four brothers, Glen Michael, Escanaba, Mich.; William Michael, Gary, Elmer and Arthur Michael, Westville.
