Married Dec. 26, 1930 in Chesterton, IN. to Mariellen F. Harrington who preceded Sept. 8, 1996.
Survived by son, Allen A. Michael of Westville; daughter, Jean (Louis) Walter of Hanna, IN; sister, Dorothy Pinkham
of Chesterton, IN; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Also preceded in death by daughter, Shirley F. Griegor, six brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services Thursday, October 22, 1998 at 10 A.M. from the Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton, IN, with Rev. Terry Rhine officiating. Interment at Chesterton Cemetery, Chesterton, IN.
Visitation at the funeral home on Thursday from 9 a.m. to time of service at 10 a.m.
Mr. Michael was a lifelong area resident. A self-employed farmer and former member of Westville Masonic Lodge. Family suggests memorials to Meals on Wheels thru LaPorte County Council on Aging.
