Mrs. Holland Is Buried June 22
Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Adaline Holland, 82, of Dodsonville, were held Thursday, June 22.
Mrs. Holland was born at Cochran, Georgia, June 22, 1S51, and married J. M. Holland on December 25, 1867. To this union was born twelve children, seven of whom are still living. They are R. J. Holland, Dodsonville; Mrs. S. E. Wigham, Long Beach, Cal.; Mrs. R. H. Geer, El Paso; Mrs. J. W. Nabors, Carona, Cal.; Mrs. W. W, Young, Buena Park, Cal.; J. D. Holland El Paso.
She is survived by 36 grandchidren; 23 great grandchildren; four great, great grandchildren.
Mrs. Holland joined the Baptist Church shortly after her marriage and has been an ardent member of that church for the past 65 years. Her husband died February 16, 1926.
The funeral services were attended by a large, number of persons from other towns, including Mr. and Mrs. Lee McConnell, grandchildren, Pampa; J. W. Chitwood and children, son-in-law and grandchildren of Fredrick,, Okla..; Mrs. H. F. Fletcher, Vernon; Mrs. C. W. Fouts, Dallas; Mrs. Geo. J. Richards, Dallas; Mrs. T. M. Lamberth, Tyler; Mrs. and Mrs. Joe B. Chitwood, Memphis; Mrs. J. A. Chitwood, Mangum; Mrs. and Mrs. Leo Fletcher, Vernon; Katheryn Chitwood, Mangum; Jacquelyn Fonts, Dallas; Riley Joe Lamberth, Tyler.
