She was the daughter of the late Clyde F. and Bertha Cherry Feagin. She attended Winthrop College and was a stewardess for American Airlines. She was an active member of Orangeburg Lutheran Church and was Past President of the Junior Service League. As a faithful wife, mother and grandmother, she will be lovingly missed by her family and friends. Lib enjoyed gardening, playing bridge and was a gracious hostess, truly having a servant's heart. She was predeceased by an infant daughter, Carol Ann Adden, and her only sister, Barbara Feagin Carter. She was 85.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Luther H. Adden, Jr.; two daughters, Harriett Neal Stegner and husband Michael of Camden, and Nancy Elizabeth Newton and husband Aris of Charleston; five grandchildren, Lauren Elizabeth Newton, Mary Lake Newton, Michael Benjamin Stegner and wife Margaret, Craig Matthew Stegner and Jason Adden Stegner; and two great-grandchildren, Adden Elizabeth Stegner and Mae Frances Stegner.
