FRITCH - Billie Ruth Hickman, 62, died Tuesday, March 6, 2001, in Amarillo.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in First Assembly of God at Borger with the Rev. Calvin Newton, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mrs. Hickman was a registered nurse at Golden Plains Community Hospital for 23 years. She was a member and Sunday school teacher at First Assembly of God in Borger.

Survivors include her husband, Norman "Chief" Hickman; two daughters, Norma Karins of Fritch and Phyllis Owens of Skellytown; four sisters, Florence Draper of Powderly, Betty Morgan of Blue Ridge, Martha Hammon of Mesquite and Jean Dodd of Proctor; and four grandchildren.
