Ida Annett widow of Willie Harvey Annett, of Chicota, died at St.Joseph's Hospital at 9:40 a.m. Thur., Dec. 25. Services Sat., Dec, 27, at Forest Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Harvey Brown & Rev. Billy Stephens. Fry & Gibbs in charge. Born in Emberson, daughter of James & Anna Cathcart Wigley. She attended Emberson schools & married Mr. Annett. He died Dec. 9, 1984. They lived in Oklahoma until 1926 when they moved to Chicota. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Surviving are 2 sons, Cleburn Annett of Plainview & Edgar D. Annett of Chicota; 5 daughters, Florence Draper of Powderly, Betty Morgan of Blue Ridge, Martha Hamman of Mesquite, Billie Ruth Hickman of Borger & Ida Jean Dodd of Comanche; 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; a sister, Celesta Curitan of Chula Vista, CA.; & a brother, A.B. Clem of Pine Bluff, AR. She was preceded in death by a son, Edward E. Annett, on Oct. 25, 1985.'
