Obituary:
Mr. Larry Wayne Dyal, 56, passed away early Tuesday morning, March 2, 2010, at the Satilla Regional Medical Center.

Born in Jeff Davis County on November 27, 1953, he had lived in Pierce County for the last sixteen years. He was a truck driver and was a US Army veteran. Mr. Dyal was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, loved playing golf and reading and had been the parliamentarian at the Blackshear Memorial Library. He was a son of the late Samuel W. "Dub" & Dorothy "Dot" Youmans Dyal and was also preceded in death by his sister, Joyce Dyal Courson.

Survivors are his wife, Betty Thrift Dyal of Blackshear; five daughters and a son-in-law, Stacey Sleep of Castleberry, AL, Nikita Dyal and Misty Dyal both of Lumber City and Crystal & Larry Smith, Jr. and Ashley Campbell all of Blackshear; a son, Derrick Campbell of Hoboken; 5 grandchildren, Chris Smith, Danielle Smith, Destiny Sleep, Haley Sleep and Conner Smith; a niece, Tara Courson, and several other relatives and friends.

Service:
A memorial service for Mr. Dyal will be held at 2:00 o'clock Thursday afternoon (March 4, 2010) at the Pearson-Dial Chapel, Blackshear, GA.

Cemetery:
Memorialization will be by cremation.
