Dorothy Dyal, 65, died May 24 at Satilla Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Jeff Davis County and lived in Brantley County since 1966. She was the widow of Samuel W. Dyal. She was an inspector for Swisher International and a member of Waresboro Church of God.

Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Courson of Waycross; a son, Larry Dyal of Blackshear; eight sisters, Ruby Bell, Lois Crumpton, Jewell Roberts, Murrel Smith, Katha Hayes, Nettie Mae Overstreet and Margaret Foskey, all of Hazlehurst, and Lucille Simpson of Uvalda; a brother, Jr. Youmans of Hazlehurst; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Satilla Regional Medical Center with burial in Satilla Cemetery in Jeff Davis County.
