He died a few months later (of pneumonia?). She married William Baltz on January 24, 1886. They lived in the Town of Calumet, Fond du Lac County, WI. They had 3 children: John Gottwerth Baltz (1888-1954),Amanda Emilie Baltz Doern and Leona Katharine Emma Baltz Braeger Hitt

Mrs. William Baltz died at her home in the town of Calumet Nov. 11th at the age of 57 years, 2 months and 6 days.
The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon and the remains interred in the Rockville Cemetery.
