On the 1900 Chicago Ward 15, Cook, Illinois census, I found day laborer M Nifczyk, 44, born Jul 1856; wife of 16 years, Michalina, 37, Sep 1862, had 13 kids, 6 living; sons or daughters: Joseph, 15, Oct 1889; Leon, 13, Jun 1886; Mieczyslaw, 12, Jan 1888; Wladglaw, 9, May 1891; Helena, 8, May "1892" and Paul, 7. The kids were all born in Ilinois and paents in Poland (Germany), as were their parents. M(ichael) immigrated in 1880 and naturalized and his wife in 1884. They resided at 123 Rhine Street.

On the 1910 Chicago Ward 28, Cook, Illinois census, I found carpenter Mike Nifcsyek, 54; wife of 25 years, Michalena, 48, had 6 kids, all living; sons or daughter: Leo, 23; Anton, 22; box factory worker, HELENE, 19 and Razmierz, 17. The children were all born in Illinois and parents were born in Ger (Germany) Polish (as were their parents). Mike immigrated in 1878 and naturaized and Michalena immigrated in 1884.

Leonard Arthur Christensen was born 16 May 1914 in Chicago, to parents Holger Christensen, born in Lincoln, Nebraska and HELEN Neff, born in Chicago. Illinois

On the 1940 Manhattan, New York City, New York census, I found Holger Christenson, 50, New York born and wife HELEN Christenson, 48, Chicago born.

Her brother Robert Leon Neff's obit lists his sister Helen Christensen.

Her grave is unmarked. She is "not listed on the back of Holger's marker."
