Printed in Daily Herald 12/24/1914:

"Mrs. Nancy Skinner, a native of Lauderdale, Miss., and who has been a resident of this city for the twenty-five years, died at her home on Holley street yesterday evening at 7:30 o'clock. she was seventy years, seven months and three days of age. She is survived by four sons who are John A., W. B., W. M., and N. E. and one daughter, Mrs. Ellen Weems, all of whom are residents of this city. Mrs. Skinner was well and favorably known about te city where she had a large coterie of friends who will regret to learn of her death. The funeral will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from her late residence on North Holley street, interment being made in the Biloxi cemetery."

Nancy was married to Kinchen Skinner of Choctaw Co., Al.
