Grace Strother married William Bellomy on 9 January 1918 in the home of Rev. A.E. White at Graham, Texas. They were the parents of three children.

William Bellomy was born in the Sugar Hollow Community of Young County, Texas.

A charter member of Proffitt Baptist Church and a Retired Deacon

In 1970, William Bellomy was presented a 50 year membership pin and certificate from the Grand Lodge of Texas for the Newcastle Masonic Lodge No 1057. Mr. Bellomy was a member of the Newcastle Lodge for more than 50 years. He moved his membership from the Proffitt Lodge No 847 having been raised a Master Mason in the Proffitt Lodge. William Bellomy became a member of the Newcastle Masonic Lodge on 10 June 1919. He was a Retired Farmer.

His grandfather, James N. Bellomy operated the first ferry in Young County across the river at Caseyville. The ferry's name was KZ ferry. The descendants have a picture of the ferry crossing the Brazos River which is fantastic.
