Rehrersburg, Oct. 12 (Special). - Aaron B. Mogel, one of the oldest residents of Berks county, died Sunday at his home here, aged 94 years, 3 months and 21 days. Death was due to ailments incident to old age. He was a son of the late Samuel and Sarah (Bagenstose) Mogel and was born in Upper Bern township, near Centerport.
Mr. Mogel followed farming all his life and until his retirement several years ago. For many years he operated a farm in Jefferson township, near here. He was a member of the Reformed congregation of Trinity Union Church, of this place. His wife, Sarah (Wagner), died three years ago.
There survive these children: Aaron H. jr., Myerstown; Oscar R. and Ellen M., both at home; also a sister, Sallie, wife of Philip Wagner, Reading. Funeral Thursday afternoon at 1:30, at the house. Further services in Trinity Union Church, this place, Rev. E. S. Leinbach, Robesonia, officiating. Interment in New Union Cemetery here. Funeral Director, C. E. Schucker, of town, has charge.
